Flan Henley's Book Review,
Episode 1

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Year 7,
2007, written by J. K. Rowling.

Review:
The final epic story about the "Boy Who Lived." As always a little too wordy but very dramatic and Rowling forces her readers to drudge through each and every word until the dramatic finish. Read it, if you know whats good for you!

Its horribly scary to think that we are going to have a baby. Some of the first thoughts that have come to my worrying fatherly mind are:
  • If its a girl, will she have a huge beard like mine?
  • If its a boy, will he be able to live with himself knowing that his father is an artist and has an imagination as wild as his?
  • As a Muggle father will I be ready when I find out, by the flying owl, that my son/daughter will be attending Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry?
  • What will I do when my son/daughter is old enough to tell me that they don't like Spongebob Squarepants?
  • What do I do when my sweet child wants to play with their toys? Do I share?
What then shall I do? I guess I will sulk and watch Spongebob alone and imagine frolicking through Jellyfish Fields, hand in hand with Spongebob singing and catching jellyfish for their delicious jelly to put on my crabby patties.

The Weber Clan hitched a train, like we were in Europe, to San Diego to see the Dead Sea Scrolls at San Diego Natural History Museum. I think we learned lots of interesting tidbits about the scrolls, although I am sure if you ask anyone but Travis about them you would learn that the scrolls all resemble brown scraps of really, really, REALLY old pieces of paper!

The rest of the weekend included us huddling close to Travis's iPhone® (Registered Trade Mark of Apple Computer) and using the map feature to find restaurants and our location when we got lost!

Mom, Dad and I are taking Heather to Oklahoma to show her what country really is! The trip will include lots of BBQ, Eskimo Joe's and Football; everything you can imagine when going to the Heartland. Heather will also get to re-live my childhood when I take her down memory lane in Stillwater, showing her our old house, high school, stomping grounds and Downtown Stillwater's booming metropolis, which I know she cannot wait to see...

And after she looks, I am sure she will say "Is that it?"
